RLD Construction are OHSAS 18001 (Health & Safety) accredited, ISO 14001 (environmental) accredited and ISO 9001 (Quality Management) accredited and it is a company policy to manage our business in an environmentally responsible manner and to comply with the applicable environmental legislation and any other requirement necessary in relation to the environmental aspects of our business.   We work closely with our clients and suppliers to alleviate any negative impact our business may have on the natural environment. We are committed to using environmentally friendly materials, we operate our own dedicated re-cycling centre located to the rear of our head office in Llysfaen, Colwyn Bay; at this three acre site we undertake waste segregation, crushing and re-use as much construction waste as is practically possible.  We endeavour to maximise energy efficiency and 'carbon off-setting'.  We are committed to promoting recycling and adopt the WRAP construction commitment accordingly (halving waste to landfill campaign).  We also actively utilise the services of our local recycling initiative ‘Crest Partnership’. Crest offer regular collections which are highly beneficial and an innovative way to re-use and recycle materials and waste locally.  

We already work closely with our Supply chain, to ensure that they are aware and implement the requirements of the Site Waste Management Plan, together with their own innovative ideas on how each project can recycle more and produce less waste.
